Hi, I’m Stephanie Choong

Something about me
I have over 8 years of experience in financial planning, specializing in family planning for young couples as well as retirement and legacy planning for individuals. As a mother of two cute girls myself, I understand the importance of safeguarding family finances. During my free time, I enjoy sipping a good coffee and exploring feng shui concepts and traditions. I find it fascinating how spatial arrangement and harmony can impact success - in finance and in life.
My passion for financial planning stemmed from a personal experience I had in 2010. I successfully made a medical claim on my insurance plan for a hefty sum that would have been impossible to cover out-of-pocket. This eye-opening event showed me the incredible value of proper insurance.
When I later left my 7-year corporate career and was seeking a change, that memory instantly guided my decision to become a financial planner. I'm a firm believer that when you truly believe in a product or service, you'll excel at providing it to others. I approach every client relationship with that same conviction about the value of thoughtful financial planning.
What I find most meaningful in my career
It's incredibly fulfilling to see the positive impact my advice and guidance can have on my clients’ financial well-being. I take pride in being able to educate and empower my clients, helping them navigate complex financial situations and make informed choices that align with their goals.
I also enjoy the constant learning and staying up-to-date with the ever-evolving world of finance. It keeps me on my toes and allows me to continuously grow and improve in my field.
Additionally, I find it meaningful to build long-lasting relationships with my clients, providing them with ongoing support and guidance throughout their financial journey. Being able to witness their growth and progress over time is truly rewarding and reinforces the importance of the work I do as a financial consultant.
One piece of advice I would give
If there is one piece of financial advice I could give, it would be this: build a safety net for your wealth, and then grow it.
Create your wealth foundation with emergency savings, insurance protection and debt reduction first. Bolster your baseline financial health and stability before shifting focus to investment and compound growth.
A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. The fastest way for most to grow their money is slowly, safely, over decades. Prioritize security, then growth.
I hope this gives you a better insight into my background, experience, and passions when it comes to financial planning. I find great meaning and reward in helping clients safeguard their families and futures. Feel free to ask me any other questions you may have - I'm always happy to share more about my approach and perspective. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you would ever like guidance achieving your own financial goals.
